Cloak: Local AI

Offline & Private AI You Own

Cloak answering a camping question on an iPhone in airplane mode, headlined Local AI. Offline. Private., with Runs entirely on your device, Works without internet and Doesn’t track you, and a badge reading 2,000+ downloads from 40+ countriesThe rest of the same conversation, How long will it take? and its answer, headlined No free now, pay later, with Buy once, own forever and Future updates included

Why I made Cloak

I made Cloak because I was on a remote part of a Greek island, wanted to ask AI a simple question, and had no connection. That felt ridiculous. If the AI can run on my phone, I should be able to use it anywhere.

So Cloak is built to be simple. It runs on your device, works offline, keeps your data there, and does not make you manage models or technical setup. You just open it and use it. No fake reviews, no “free for now” games. Just a useful product, clear pricing, and steady improvement.

I also think local AI can do things cloud AI never could. We’ve already started exploring that with Voice Memos and Recap, while keeping the core experience simple and reliable. I’m really excited about what’s next.

Thanks for being early,
Alex
