AI Status Alerts is an iPhone app by Polyaura that notifies you when ChatGPT, Claude or Grok reports an incident on its official status page. This policy explains what data the app and its alert service collect.
When you turn on alerts, the app sends Polyaura's alert service a device-specific Apple push token, which is not linked to an account or other identifying information, together with your alert preferences (which services you follow and the lowest severity you want alerts for) and basic technical details needed to deliver notifications, such as the app version. For each alert, the service also records which notification was sent to the token and whether it was delivered.
There are no accounts or sign-in, and the app does not ask for personal information such as your name, email address or location.
Only to send the alerts you chose and to run the app's status and history screens. We do not sell this data, share it for advertising, or use it for anything else.
Notifications are delivered by Apple's Push Notification service. The alert service runs on Cloudflare, which processes network information such as IP addresses to deliver traffic; Polyaura does not store IP addresses. Status information comes from the public status pages of OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI, and the app sends nothing about you to them.
Delivery records are deleted after 30 days. Your registration is kept while the app is installed. After you delete the app, Apple stops accepting notifications for its push token, and the service deletes the registration the next time it tries to send an alert. The app also keeps your preferences on your device; deleting the app removes them. Turning alerts off in the app or in iOS Settings stops notifications.
The app has no analytics, advertising or third-party SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites. Apart from the push token, it uses no device identifiers, cookies or location data.
